Shall the City of Negaunee, Marquette County, Michigan, borrow the principal sum of not to exceed One Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,250,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds payable over a period not to exceed twenty years from date of issuance, to be used by the City for the purpose of paying the cost of acquiring and constructing improvements to the City ice arena, including, but not limited to renovating/reconfiguring the locker rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms, upgrading the bleachers and seating, replacing the chiller and insulating the dehumidifier, together with all necessary site improvements, including parking and lighting, and appurtenances and attachments thereto? The estimated millage to be levied in 2026 is 0.4977 mills ($0.4977 per $1,000 of taxable value) and the estimated simple average annual millage rate required to retire bonds is 0.4986 mills ($0.4986 per $1,000 of taxable value).
